Ingredients of Papaya Halwa:
5 cup grated papaya
6 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup Milk or 2 1/2 tbsp milk powder
4 tbsp ghee
4 powdered green cardamom
For Garnishing:
15 gm halved cashews Almonds
Preparation:
Peel the papaya and grate the papaya.
Method:
Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add papaya and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring continuously.Add sugar, mix and cook for 5-10 or till the papaya is fully done.Add almond powder(If you don't have you can skip) and cardamom powder and mix well. Add khoya and mix well.Serve hot garnished with almonds.
Tips:
- You can add Add khoya instead of milk.
- You can add almond powder for more taste.
