Andhra chicken curry recipe
Ingredients:
500 gms chicken
2 tbsp of red chilli powder
3 tbsp of oil
3 medium onions finely chopped
one tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 green chilly
one tomato finely chopped
½ tbsp turmeric powder
2-3 cloves
1 small cinnamon stick
2 cardamoms
1 bay leaf
3 black peppers
2 tbsp salt for taste
1 tbsp garam masala powder
1 cup curd
3 tbsp poppy seeds
2 tbsp coconut powder

Preparation of Spicy chicken curry:
Take chicken pieces wash them well and marinate the chicken pieces with 3/4 of ginger garlic paste,1/4 of turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder at end add some curd and mix it well keep aside or in refrigerator for 30 minutes at least to mix up well.
Blend two onions as paste and keep aside,Dry roast poppy seeds if you don't have poppy seeds you can use some cashew nuts if you don't have cashew nuts no problem you're using onion paste for gravy and black peppers,cinnamon stick,cardamoms and make powder.

Method :
Take a pan add oil add sliced onions,add green chillies mix saute slightly till the onions get transparent add onion paste add ginger garlic paste saute till paste become golden brown stir well and add turmeric powder add chicken, roast it until change in color appears.
Add chopped mint leaves(it's optional) add rest of the chilli powder,add garam masala powder cook in medium flame,add the roasted and blended powder into the curry,add chopped tomatoes stir well and cook for 5 mins in small flame.Add little bit of water if the gravy is too thick it's your choice,if you don't want more gravy don't add water,cook until chicken tender finally add some finely chopped coriander leaves switch off the stove you are done with Spicy chicken curry .
Transfer into serving bowl andhra chicken curry is ready you can serve it with rice,roti.
